Hi I'm from Birmingham England. I have a female Jack Russell called Elara. She is about 5 months old, smooth coated, white with brown patches on her head. I only had her yesterday, she has come from my brother. She is very sweet natured and clever and very cheeky and has no manners at all as my brother didn't bother to train her, she's not even house trained!

I have no experience with terriers as I have always had GSDs or GSD crosses before, so I'll need some help from other terrier owners.

I also have 2 cats, 5 snakes, 2 tarantulas, 1 frog, 1 hamster and about 20 rats.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and getting loads of tips.

Hi, welcome to Chazhound!
I have a JRT x (he is mainly JRT).. anyway when he was a puppy he was super hyper. He was really easy to train though, so hopefully you won't have too much trouble with Elara. The sooner you house-train her, the better.

Hi and Welcome from Misha and myself in Spain. My parents live about 20 miles away from Birmingham, seems the weather has improved so hope you are getting a good summer at last. I've found our terrier stubborn but very smart - I've enjoyed training her - even when she just rolls her eyes out at me, lol. Good luck, looking forward to seeing the photos!
