Hi There;

I'm a long time dog owner, but a first time toy dog owner. So I'm hitting the boards looking for advice. I suspect that "toydom" may be a whole new world. I've posted in the training section looking for advice specific to my situation and I will be very greatful for any replies.

I have two toy poodles and a yorkie... and I previously had another toy poodle who has since passed away, so all my experience is with toy dogs.

dont let the reputation scare you... although they are more fragile then big dogs they have just as much heart and love.

Hi and welcome to Chazhound! I'd love to see pictures of your dog, what breed? The only thing I can say is to remember just because he's small make sure he still has to be polite and can't get away with things like jumping up or showing aggression. If it's wrong for a big dog it is wrong for a small dog. I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum
