Hi, my name is Diane, I joined this fourm awhile back, but never really introduced myself. I am still in High school, and I compete in agility(NADAC) and other 4-H events with my 4 year old mix breed Honey Bear. I also have bred/raised and shown purebred Polish rabbits for 7 years. Its a 4-H hobby, and if I had more rabbits I probably would have a higher rank in my breed. I love all animals and I inspire to be a dog trainer when I get older. I love the idea of training dogs, but lack the patience sometimes. And its a challenge, which is why I love it. I am also, sometime in the next few days, getting a Blue Merle Border collie. They are my dream breed, before I even learned about agility.

I hope to become active in at least the agility part of this fourm, and thought to introduce myself. If anyone has any questions about rabbits AT ALL. Feel free to e-mail me, I am young but I know a lot about them.

Diane:)

hi and welcome to Chazhound! Agility is a great sport! Do you know what breeder you'll be getting your BC from? If not we might be able to help you find one, or are you going to a breed rescue? I'd love to see pictures of Honey Bear, I'm sure you'll learn a lot here and I hope you enjoy the forum :D

Yes, a lady really close to me who breeds strictly for sheep dogs. All her dogs are from imported stock dogs lines, and on the plus side, she has great trial dogs. I am getting a 9 month old blue merle male from her. She is moving, and needed to find homes for a few dogs, so I am "adopting" him. He has such a good pedigree, and health testing in the BG, I am very excited. It took me forever to find the right dog, because nothing "felt" right, even with all the health testing done, and pedigrees, and the super well known breeders. I am very happy with how its going. We are actually picking him up this weekend. I should post pictures of Bear (and Jinx) lol, she is very photogenic.

Thanks, I hope I can get some good advice for starting out agility this time the right way.

Diane
