Hello,

just thought i'd say hi, and introduce myself and most importantly my pup Tucker. He is a 10 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback/small amounts of boxer.
He is full of energy, so we are hoping to get him a friend in the next year or so once we fence in the yard. For now he goes to dog daycare. He enjoys hiking, playing with sticks and anything that squeaks.

Anyone know anything about Rhodesians?? i knew nothing, but i fell in love with him. He loves chasing birds, but not any other animal. he is very protective, but would never harm anyone (he just threatens it and sounds scary until i tell him its ok, then he is the sweetest thing). Is this typical behavior of this breed?

He sounds like a fun, rambunctious puppy We'd love to see pictures!

You should post about his behavior in the puppy forum, too. It's really not unusual, but there are ways you can teach him to calm down

Thanks!! Pictures a must! there is nothing i love more than bragging about my pup.

His love for LARGE sticks is beyond me. The bigger the stick the better.

AH, sorry they are so big. Don't know how to make them smaller
