Hi my name is January, I breed golden retrievers and train for search and rescue.

Just to avoid any confusion I am currently in a middle of a divorce and am staying with Heather [yuckaduck] so I am using her computer therefore never will we both be on at the same time and yes my email addy is actually her daughters that I am using. Just so no one thinks she is losing her mind and double posting or doing a double identity.

Glad to meet you. I am new too. Sorry to hear about your divorce. I came real close to getting one myself and in fact slept on the couch for over 6 months. Believe it or not it took my 8 month old lab getting hit and killed by a car for my husband and I to try to get on the same page again. My "baby" Suede was the love of my life and losing him took me to the brink of madness it seemed. I couldn't handle the house being so quiet so my husband drove me to a town an hour and a half away and wrote a large check for me to get my new little one Gunner. (This from a man that would guilt trip me for asking for $20.00.) I want to post a memorial thread for Suede but I just can't yet. Anyways, sorry to babble, I'm glad you're here

Thank you for the welcomes. No sympathy required for the divorce I am very happy and planning a party over it. Glad to be rid of him, and I have my dogs and a great friend who is sharing her place with me and my dogs so no worries. I am very happy about the situation and when the divorce is final, everyone is invitated to the party!
