Hello everyone.....
I'm hoping this message finds everyone well and in good spirits. And hope everyone's fur friends are good too.

I have a black female Labrador called Ciárna. She is 1 year old and 9 months. Her birthday is on the 1st of September. She came to live with me on the 23rd of October 2009 and it was the happiest day of my life. :)

I have had a lot of up's and down's with Ciárna last year. She has gone through 5 operations all before she was one year old, bless her. However, she is great now and so very healthy and most importantly, very happy.

I look forward to making some friends on here and for tips and advice.
Have a nice every one and thanks for reading.

Hi Jessie, thank you!Have you ever been to Ireland before? Right now I'd love to be were you are, the States (??) because I've read that it is severely hot and humid their! Here in Ireland the weather is freezing cold. However, today is a little bit better.:) It has been raining solid here every single day!!:(

I went to Ireland 2 years ago :) It's so beautiful there... I could deal with the cold/rain to live there!

It's definitely very hot and humid here in Florida... and it rains a lot as well. We're supposed to have rain every day for the next week :yikes:

Hi Jessie. As I speak it has got a little warmer thank goodness. I was able to get my back yard washed out, Ciárna's crate, her two paddling pools and her food container that I keep in the garage. I was wanting to get this done earlier in the week but it was too cold and it rained non-stop.

I want to get her crate ready for when the guy comes and puts fencing up in the front garden. Ciárna has managed to dig holes in the hedges and get into my neighbour's garden, each side!! Only, recently this time she got unto the footpath but I had her on the hook line. Thank God I did or else she would've been killed on the main road, or even worse, someone could come along and steal her!
So, it is better to put up fencing. Better safe than sorry. The hedge is already very thick but she is still able enough to get to the other side, the wee rascal!

So, when the guy comes to put up the fencing I will let put her in the crate in the front garden. She will keep the fencing guy company!!! :)

Hi Moth. :)

Ciárna is my first dog. I got her several months after watching the film "Marley & Me". It was a fantastic film. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it but cried near the end.

To pronounce Ciárna's name is 'Keer na'. Her name is Irish and means "Little Black One"
