Hello from Central Indiana. My name's Willy and I have an 8 year old female GSD as well as a 19 month old Mal/GSD mix. I do multiple dog sports with my dogs including primarily agility and disc dog, but also dock jumping, lure coursing, herding, and we are dabbling in flyball. Agility is by far my first love.

I compete in agility with my GSD, Pimg, in CPE only. We got started when she was about 5.5 years old, and I desperately wish I would have known about it sooner. She turned out to be a natural at it. She's very fast, very driven, and absolutely loves the game. We recently earned her C-ATCH title and are looking forward to CPE Nationals 2014 in June. I also plan on working towards Pimg's third United Junior Jumpers (UJJ) dock diving title this summer, and a few more legs towards her Coursing Aptitude Excellent (CAX) title. After CPE Nationals, I will most likely do a slow retirement of Pimg from agility in order to maintain her health and longevity. Pimg has been CERF'ed, is OFA Good in hips and ED1 in elbows. She's spayed. Pimg is generally running around 4.8 to 5.5 yards per second, with a best of 6.88 yps. She's 28" long, 26" high, and currently 63 pounds.

Here are a few pics of Pimg:

I have a 19 month old Mal/GSD mix named Jinks. He's a rescue from Michigan and a pretty fun little dog. While I got him as an agility prospect, he's has been a bit slow to mature and agility training is on hold. He is in love with discs though and has been very successful at Toss & Catch disc competitions. In his first comp, he took 3rd place, and in his second he took 1st. He's a bit soft with some handler sensitivity, so recently I've been working primarily on engagement and growing his drive. We've also started flyball training and Jinks seems to like that a lot. I hope to start agility training with him sometime this summer- most likely after CPE Nats. Jinks is currently 22" tall and 50 pounds. He's had OFA Prelims and came back Good in hips. Jinks has had a vasectomy (yes, really).

Here are a few pics of Jinks:

Here's a fun video of Jinks running really, really fast:

Hey Willy!

No peeking/stalking Pimg pics? You know those are my faves ;)

Love Jinks, think he's stunning! Sounds like developmentally he's following Limit's route, which hopefully means you'll be thrilled in a few months.

I think I will. He's finally starting to come out of his shell and really engage. It's fun. It's almost like having a Mal! LOL! In all seriousness- he's actually turning on quite a bit lately and I love it.

Welcome to the forum! You have two great looking dogs!

Jinks is super handsome (and you're not going to get many raised eyebrows about vasectomies here!) and it's great to have another disc dog person on the forum
