Hello all,

I am a Lipizzan and Frieisan breeder in upstate NY. Yes, we got flooded out BIG TIME...lot's of interesting and exciting things happened here this past week because of the high waters.

Probably the most interesting thing however was watching three very shy 6 month old blue tick coonhounds come wandering in after the flood. These sweet little babies were emaciated and all have cherry eye which my vet has already looked at. I hope to make these dogs my own if no one claims them...I have a feeling no one will.

Please see my thread elsewhere (not sure where to post it yet!). I'll be looking for advice on these dogs!

Hello and welcome :) I train barrel horses and gaited horses. I own mainly Missouri Fox Trotters and Saddlebreds (along with a few rescued QHs). I hope you enjoy it here :D

Hi and welcome to the forum! We love pictures, dogs, horses, cats, gerbils, human kids, we love them all. :D

Good for you for taking in those puppies too; I read your other thread and it sounds like your place will be heaven to them.

Yes, I will post some pics soon. Also a few of some of the horses we breed. The trio had their first bath last night and immediately started PLAYING with one another! This was the first puppy-like behavior they had shown us! Went shopping today and they all have collars now....they are looking like real civilized dogs rather than wild mud wallowing hounds:)

Here they are...all freshly bathed and with their first collars! The earliest our vet can get them in to have their eyes taken care of and get them fixed is in two weeks

The first picture is Agatha (Aggie), the second is Beatrice (Betty), and the third is Cleopatra (Cleo).
