I've decided to join a forum so that I can chat with other dog lovers. I guess I'll tell you all a little bit about myself. I'm 17 years old, and we just got a brand new boxer puppy. We had a mother and daughter pair (lived with them my entire life almost) and we lost the mother about 2 years ago, and last christmas Lexus - her daughter was taken as well. After a long 18 months sans-pet I finally coerced my parents into taking the family to our local boxer breeder "just to look"
D). Needless to say, a week later we're bringing home our little bundle of fur.
Her name is Marley, she's 7 weeks old, and the cutest thing I've ever seen. Because I was so little when we got Ceara and Lexus (well, Ceara was 2 and Lex was just a puppy) I didn't get to take part in the training, or really taking care of them. To me they were just my friends. This time around, I really want to be an active member in my pets upbringing. So I've decided to join a home where I can get advice, listen to other anecdotes and meet other pet lovers like myself.
So, if you got through all of that, feel free to ask me anything else you'd like.
