Some dogs love canned green beans (rinsed and low sodium). I doubt it's just the treats that are making your dog fat though. What kibble are you feeding? You might want to consider reducing it or using the kibble as a treat throughout the day.

hi my puppy is getting to be a little on the chubby side and are there any dog treat recipes to help stay fit?
First off, what kind of food do you feed them? Premium kibble or grocery store brand? Secondly how much excercise do your dogs get? Ask yourself those questions first before you start looking for healthy treats ;) . If you give too many treats then that alone can make them fat :D ! I see you are from Massachusetts me too :) ! Welcome to Chaz!! Have any pics of your dogs?

Wow, Saje. I just found out last week mine love string beans. I've been buying fresh ones and after we're done eating, they get their treats.

Bristol, definately get her off those junky foods she is eating. There are so many better foods at petsmart, petco, and pet supplies plus that you should feed her. Natural balance, Wellness, Canindae, Innova, Timberwolf organics, just to name a few. The website TT provided is great for you to find out about better nutrition.
