so for all you harry potter fans out there-
in the 6th book, as you all know, Snape killed Dumbledore. Hopefully we will find out in the 7th whether he is on Voldemort's side or Dumbledore's side. In your opinion, will Snape be revealed to be good or evil?

It's been quite some time since I read #6, and I can't remember exactly how Dumbledore died, but I do remember thinking that Snape was definitely evil.

I don't think he's good or evil, and I definitely don't think he's on Voldemort's side. I think Snape is a bit like our dogs. Amoral, and does what works for himself. :p

How could Snape not be evil when he killed D umbledore? If he was on Dumbledore's side, he wouldn't have done it.

He was under an unbreakable vow though... it was that or dying.

I'm mixed. A friend thinks he's good. I've just re-read the 6th book and I am not sure.

Something inside me says Snape was under more than one unbreakable vow, which really made him have no choice in the matter. Why do you think Dumbledore trusted that ex-death eater enough to let him into the Order of the Phoenix? Anyway, that's the only explanation of how he could kill Dumbledore and still not be evil that I can come up with.

Oh, gosh, I've participated in crazy long discussions on my HP forum and I couldn't possibly compile all ideas again and post them again. :D
But, I think Snape is on Snape's side, mostly. :D

Evil. Evil, evil, evil.

'Nuff said. And if he has a "change of heart" in this book, I think I might.. um.. well I won't be happy. Pbbbbttttt!

Ahh! I can't wait to find out what happens!

Anyone else planning on staying up all night to read it? haha

Me neither!
Yep, I'll stay up, too. :D
A lot of people think that someone will flip to the back or something and tell people what happens in the end. I thought that was weird but I guess it sometimes happens. . .?
