Happy thanks giving. We had a great one, and Blaze sure loved his dinner tonight. (so did the turtle as he got turkey instead of live fish today, he didnt have to catch his own meal for once lol)

Between yesterday and today we went through 62 20-40Lbs turkeys. We had well over 1100Lbs of turkey in the restaraunt for the weekend!!!! I never want to see another turkey again....LOL Oh ya and what do I pull out to feed my dogs today???? I f*ckin turkey neck...I just cant get away!!!

I spent my Thanksgiving an hour and a half away from home for stock car nationals. Yep, sat out in 5 above and windy weather from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Did the same thing Sunday. I won't complain though because we had a blast. Even if we did freeze our a$$es off for two days. We had ham and turkey supper on Saturday.

Wow where in canada are you. here in ontario (near Toronto) it got up to 31c it was HOT. They said on the news it was the hottest day for thanks giving ever on [recorded] history (for this area)
People were swimming at the dog park (there is a deep creek and pong to go in)

Cool, Thanksgiving means turkey to yall as well as here!

I never asked my stepdad about Thanksgiving in his homeland. What do Canadians give thanks for and why?

Same things you have to be thankful for (heheh like OC's answer too). There is some historical evidence that the first thanksgiving feast was held in the canadian maritimes. MMM so much turkey..even with this cold it was good.

i am thankful that i don't have to celebrate american thanksgiving any more [yes, i am an american living in canada] - too many horrible familiy memories.

it's also nice having a bigger break between thanksgiving and christmas, i have to say.
