So I'm forgettable.
Have had 1 happy birthday today from my daughter only. My husband might at some point today remember, like after he see's my birthday cake! At my age birthdays are no big deal, but it would be nice to be remembered without having to always say, guess what today is!

I have only been popping in and out not paying a whole lot of attention. Sorry, kids are being so bad this morning and I do mean the human ones. Raining outside and they want to go out and play but cannot! Poor things do not understand that playing in the rain is not good.

Ok, so it's almost 3... I called him. Nope, never said happy birthday. He came home....still nothing. He left. I called him again this afternoon to ask him something, still nothing. Well now when he gets home he will see my birthday cards, and my birthday cake! 2 years in a row now he's forgot.
Thank you for the happy birthdays. I purposely didnt put my date down, but he frustrates me, I wanted to complain to someone.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Becca. Charley and I have been together since 2000 and this year is the first time he's ever acknowledge my birthday with more than a faked rueful expression and a "Oh, it was your birthday today, wasn't it; we should have at least gone to LaCarreta for dinner." This is always said just before he goes to sleep . . .

This year we actually made it to LaCarreta

He does nothing for Christmas or Valentine's Day either . . .

Now, go out and buy yourself something you really, really want that has no practical purpose whatsoever and enjoy it to the max!

Don't feel bad. My husband would forget too if I didn't have it written and circled on the calender. It helps to keep reminding him too, like three weeks in advance. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You're not forgettable, don't think that.
