Happy Birthday 11th Maddie!

I can't believe my baby is 11 today... I have been in complete denial all day!
we've been through so much today, she has been my constant companion, my best friend, my secret keeper, my everything for the past 11 years! And hopefully, many more...

And whats a birthday thread without pics?

she was the CUTEST puppy <3

lots of great growth spurts where her ears didnt match the rest of her body lol

like most puppies, she grew to fast

Maddie has helped me with a lot of dogs over the years, my Mom's dogs (picture below) fosters, etc

she grew into a beautiful little lady (heh heh)

she loved my first (good) car as much as I did! lol

with my license came lots of training classes! lol

unfortunatly, she did injure her eye. She got attacked by a dog :C

but she recovered quickly and bounced back much better than I did!

... and today.

We've been through tons and tons of things, too many to list. Camping, hiking, classes, traveling & road trips, family events, dealths in the family, boy friends & bad break ups, friends & awful fights, graduating college, moving out (x2) and she has been THE most perfect dog. Friendly, well behaved, a goof ball, and even a pita when needed LOL
We have this connection on a level I never knew possible, she is so in tune with me, knows so many tricks... my friends joke that her and Bailey switched bodies (Maddie's 'Lassie' and Bailey is just.. well... Bailey the dorkdog LOL). She's a once in a lifetime dog, and I am extremely blessed to have her in my life.

and after 11 years, YES she knows its her birthday! LOL! She is being such a brat, thinking everything belongs to her today. Oh man I love her so much.
I love you babygirl... Happy Birthday! Here's to many more!!! C:
