Happy 9th birthday, Millie!

I can't believe Millie is 9 years old. It seems like just yesterday she was small enough to sit inside her food bowl.

I don't have pictures from those days, though.

Here's a very young Millie, though:

She's grown up so much, and so beautifully IMO.

Millie, you are so amazing I can hardly stand it. I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have been chosen by you. You have me, heart and soul. I've noticed the things that sometimes bother me about your limitations are the things that I myself struggle with, so I think we're meant to go work on those things together. I hope I have many, many more years of my journey with you. <3

Thanks! I still can't believe she's 9. Part of me can, because it feels like she's *always* been in my life, but the other part remembers when she was really little and I've come across things I wrote about her when she was 2 years old. It's just crazy to me.
I have no money to buy her something yet (it'll have to be a belated gift ) but I'll post pictures of our birthday hike soon.
