I noticed today that it seems like there is a tooth growing in behind one of Hannah's other teeth. I don't know if maybe her tooth is gonna fall out and this tooth and gonna take it's place or what. I don't know if you can get a good look of it from the picture but it looks like the tooth is growing in directly behind her other tooth. I'm very confused, will one of the teeth need to be pulled?

Dont pull it out let it fall out on its own when its ready. If you really want it out give her a carrot or chew toy to help it along. Thanks Lisa.
Don't worry I'd NEVER pull the tooth out myself. I hate the sight of blood and nasty gross stuff  . She chews on toys all day long. I just noticed it when I was giving her a daily once over. I like to check for stuff like that on all the dogs, I'll look in their mouths and check their feet and ears on a daily basis.

Julie,
If it doesn't come out soon, you may want to talk to the vet about getting it pulled. It's her baby tooth that never fell out. I don't know if it will really cause any health problems, but that's something to talk to the vet about. But, don't think Hannah is a freak or anything LOL. It's just like when children sometimes don't lose their baby teeth for whatever reason.

German Sheperd Gurl, I have one human baby that is mine (she's 15 months) and two stepsons (5 and 12). I'm slowly getting used to all the blood and nasty gross stuff but I avoid it at all costs though. Pro47, she's getting spayed in a couple days and I'll ask them if she should get it pulled while she is under getting fixed.

I used to just spend time moving the tooth around in all directions and loosening it up. Then I would remove it with a pair of hemostats.

that happened to my dog, she had one growing out in the back of a baby tooth too. After a while the baby tooth got loose anyways and fell out. I was afraid that her teeth will be crooked but now with all her adult teeth they are fine.

Is Hannah a puppy??? (sorry, I guess I should know that from reading)
My pup has her perm. teeth growing behind her baby teeth too. They will come out on their own (if she is a pup). I keep finding teeth all over the place! I have quite a collection going. :D
It's been a long time since I've had a puppy. Is it normal for their gums to bleed after the teeth come out? Most of the time they come out when she is chewing on something....

Yeah she's still a puppy (6 months). The tooth fell out the other day though. I haven't found one of her baby teeth though, I hear that it's very rare too.

I was so determined to find Chynas that I crawled around on the carpet picking up anything white! So far I've found a few on the carpet, one stuck inbetween the cushions on the couch and one was stuck to the end of her bullystick. :D

Wow Julie I thought all women were pretty much used to blood and gross stuff... You must be lucky.

I wouldn't worry about it, just have it removed next time you go to the vet or something, unless it starts getting infected. I'm 27 and I still have a baby tooth...
