I had a weird, sad day today. I had an appointment I THOUGHT for today at 3:45 for my dog Rommel at the vet. So I go in and they are like oh you have Chelsea. I was like ummm no I have Rommel. And then they were confused because they had Rommel down for 3:45 tomarrow and apparently my mom had called this morning and made an appointment for Chelsea at 3:45 TODAY. So that was weird and we were all confused, but they saw my dog anyways. My mom came with Chelsea and I was just coming out of the room as she went in. So I paid and then went in with my mom to see what was wrong. So Chelsea I guess had been throwing up blood, and has been falling down alot. She just turned 16 years old on the 4th of this month. They decided it was best to put her down because she has been getting worse and worse lately and just wasn't comfortable anymore. My brother couldn't come, but my sister and my niece came and my dad came. We all went back with her. So I am very sad. We got Chelsea when I was 10. I have been crying all day. My mom is having her cremated and we are gonna spread her ashes somewhere when they come back. I will miss her. She was a really good dog. Here are some pics of her. They are the only ones I could find on my computer, they are from christmas a few years ago.

Sweety,
I am so sorry. The pain in your heart can't be put into words. I sympathize as well as empathize with you. :(
She's no longer in pain.

I'm so, so very sorry for your loss. Heartbreaking, but she did have a good long life with a family that obviously loved her dearly.

So sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful girl. My boy is 15 and it's so hard watching them get old. At least you know she's in doggie heaven running like she did when she was a pup and pain free. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

What a lovely, big, sweet, beautiful old Grrrrl you had in Chelsea. You must have all sorts of wonderful memories and funny and sweet stories about her, and those stories will help you through the pain of her leaving . . . . I know, though, that after looking after you for all these long years, she's not going to go far - you'll feel her looking over your shoulder from time to time; catch a fleeting glimpse of her tail wagging slowly just barely in your line of vision . . .
