So today after school I had to go straight to work to groom two of my regular customers. So since my Rotties go to school with me I had them with me. So I am leaving and as I come out of the grooming shop I see 4 or 5 people in a group. Typical "punk" kids that want to be big bad and ghetto. So I immediately turn to go towards the back of the store because my dog Brock can have some issues with certain people. Well the one girl sees me trying to "get away" and yells across the store " Ay are them "rocs" I turn aggervated cause she called them "rocs". and say"Yes they are Rottweilers". So she's all like "Oh I love Rocwallas" ( thats how she pronounced it) " Can I see them". Now just the way she carried herself and acted I already knew Brock was going to have a problem. So I told her you can see the female but the male bites so please do not touch him. I scooted Brock around the corner of the isle and had him Sit/stay and kept a grip on his collar , and let Patience go up to the girl. Patience LOVES everyone so she is never an issue. So this girl then is like oh let me see the other one. I said again "No he bites please stay where you are." So of course she starts coming toward him going oh its ok he's fine. SO I kinda pushed Brock back and said again only kinda mean "NO he bites don't come closer!" She gave me a dirty look and backed off. After her and her friends left the store after saying loudly what a bitch I am, The customer at the register looks at me and the cashier and is like "What the hell part of No dont touch him he bites did she not understand?" People aggervate me to no end. If someone told me please don't touch my dog he may bite I would not persist in keeping on trying to touch it. What is wrong with people?

Question - if your dog has issues with certain people, why do you take him into a school? That sounds like a huge liability risk, as well as a surefire way to give your breed an even worse reputation if Brock *did* bite someone. I have Dobermans, and I have the same responsibility - I must present my breed to the public in the best possible way.

If one of my dogs was aggressive towards people and the other wasn't, I would have kept walking and not set my dog up for a sticky situation.

I am going to school to be a dog trainer and the teacher is helping me work through his issues. He is a rescued dog and has had the crap beat out of him by his previous owner. And as for why he was at work withme. It was a bit hot to leave him in my car. I had to go straighjt from school to work. So he was crated while I was at work. I took him out because I was taking him home.
