:yikes: Im a bit scared lol. My hair is extremely thick and naturally curly and heavy even lol. I used to have very long hair down past the middle of my back. And I straighten my hair and my god it took me 2 1/2 to 3 hours to completely straighten my hair. If I didn't straighten it it was one big frizzy curly mess so much easier to get tangled. And so I finally chopped that stuff off and have had fairly short hair for a couple years.

Why would I want to go back to that torture of my old long hair? Lol I really don't know I just think im gonna try it again. Im just saying this now cause my hair is starting to touch my shoulders slightly and about this time I usually cut it. But im leaving it.

Lol im being brave trust me. :lol-sign:

I like long hair :D. I'm jealous if yours grows faster than mine, I've been trying to grow it for ages lol.

I can't stand my hair any longer than 3-4" past my shoulders. Even THAT is pushing it.

I hate my hair. My hair is ugly and I just really don't care to deal with it. So, having it shorter makes it easier to put into a messy bun all the time.

There are some products out there that are supposed to be pretty good for de-frizzing, Pixie :)
I have tried just about every one out there. The Suave one works "okay" but most don't make a difference. My hair hates me its a well known fact :lol-sign: .

Or using a good gel or mousse to work through it? My best friend has long curly hair, and whatever she puts in it when we go out makes it look awesome.

I'm still getting used to my "short" hair! :)

I think a nice hair cut would do nice with your hair type. I have a similar hair type. My hair is thick, wavy, dark, and can be frizzy, a good layer cut helped keep it nice and in control. :)

I second that! A good cut makes all the difference in the world.

I have realllllly long curly hair. I use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners every morning. After leaving it in a towel for about 20 minutes I brush it, apply a ton of mousse and blow dry it upside down. :)

It sounds like you have the exact same kind of hair as mine..What I do is when I am at the hair dressers I get it thined out..half and hour to straighten..not as much frizz but I can stll have my bouncy curls when I want them and it looks full.

Layered cuts work great for thick, curly hair (I should know, lol)

Also, put in a good leave in conditioner before you blow dry then straighten and pull some de frizzing serum through.

I like short hair on you, personally. :) You seem like an edgy chick (rockstar ;)) and it's easier to keep short cuts a bit edgy. I can't do a whole lot with my long hair. I like it because it's pretty, but unless I put it up, it's very flowy and girly. Doesn't go with most of my clothes at all.
I think you'd look awesome in a very choppy (razored too perhaps) layered cut with bangs. It's easy to style and looks great with minimal effort. I have wavy hair too and I always get cuts that work with my natural waves as well as look good when I straighten it.

Yah, that's a total rockstar cut, which would go along with you being an upcoming rock-star...
