Beautiful yes. Intimidating? Wally is the first Grey I'd ever describe as intimidating--and ONLY when he's showing his smile LOL!
Hahahahaha!!!!
Actually we had an amusing "incident" on Sunday at work.
The cat rescue brought in the newest foster to work. She put him in his condo and set about taking pictures of him. His condo is right next to Wally's bed (since he likes to hang in the cat section). When she was done taking the cat's picture she took a pic of Wally. Now Wally is not only an attention hog, but he also has learned to ham it up for the camera ever since we worked for the pet photographer.
ANYWAY she took his picture and he gave her the "you must come love on me for hours" intense eyes that he gives to anyone who gives him even the slightest amount of attention. The woman says in a panicked tone "Why's he staring at me like that?" Then proceeds to scream "Why's he staring at me like that" and jumps and hides behind her husband. Uhhhh . . .
So I told the story to my mom. My mom said "Well apparently she's just a cat person." BUT here's the funny thing: She isn't afraid of Teeny, who though is small, does look like an "evil pit bull" in most people's eyes AND she loves Cora, who is an 85 pound Rottie. Yet is TERRIFIED of my Greyhound WHO SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WAS A GREYHOUND until after we explained to her why he was staring at her.
So yeah, I guess they can be intimidating. They stare a lot, and their teeth are **** big. LOL! But personally I think they look far more snuggly than anything else. But maybe it's just me . . .
