Hello everyone, I found this forum through google and I joined because it looks active and hopefully useful. I am a very inexperienced owner when it comes to dogs and I know I've made a lot of bad choices in raising our dog, but I really want to help her and myself as much as possible so we're happier and more functional. I hope I can get some things straightened out while I'm here!

My family so far consists of 4 cats and 1 dog.

Hello & welcome to Chaz. Chloe is very cute, do you recomend this breed? I have a 14 1/2 y/o border collie that I made a lot of mistakes with & she wrecked my shoulder. So I was thinking of getting a small dog next time.

Thanks! Well, shih tzu's are high maintenance, all the way. While my dog isn't too friendly or easy-going, I've met other well-mannered, friendly, groomed shih tzu's who are wonderful! heh... I think as long as you're willing to put in the effort they can be a great dog!
