We adopted a mutt, who they first said was a spaniel mix, then they listed her as an australian shepard mix, (she has small triangle ears that flop over). She is pure white except two beige patches over each eye. She is very fluffy and SOFT!! She is also huge at only 9 months she is larger than our petite lab. She has massive webbed paws. Here is my question. I think she has great pyrenese in her, but her tail curls around. Is that common in that breed, or did she get it from somewhere else?? The vet tech though she had shar pei in her because of the small ears, and extra skin around the face, but the nose has no inkling of shar pei. also she is pure white - if you get her wet you will see freckles all over her body. Want to post a picture soon, but not up to it tonight. Thanks for your responses - I was mainly wondering about the tail.

Does she have double dew claws on her rear legs? This is a pyr trait, and one that is usually found in pyr mixes aswell. Hope to see some pictures soon!

Here's some more- she was too tired to be cute

Also, hopefully her puppy pic will show up. She is 9 months and @65lbs Can't get photobucket to put in puppy pic even though it's there - maybe just too old.

she definetely looks like she's got some sharpei in the face. Could have some great pyrenese in her. Did she get a shave job, or is her fur always like that? She is so adorable!

I see the Pyr with the build but the hair looks short. I also see Shar Pei with the ears in particular...and possibly a reason for the shorter coat.

No shave job that's her. Thanks for the cute commment - that's part of the reason she got adopted. Cute, soft, and BIG. She doesn't have a double dew claw. I just posted, because everywhere we take her people comment on her looks and ask what she is - I usually tell them whatever they want to guess is fine with me - she's a dog. I even had one person ask if I was going to breed her because she was so cute - AUGGHH!! People these days. I said I rescued her from the shelter and there are probably just as many cute dogs at the shelter just waiting for a home.

She is constantly trying to escape, I can't count the number of times she has dug or broke through the bottom of the fence, after reading some posts on huskies and malamutes(sp?) I think maybe she has some type of wanderlust breed in her.
