hm, so strange. I came into the vets office expecting to have Chance put down. I told the vet my story again, and he looked at Chance. He opened his mouth as wide as it would go and go someone else to pull his tongue...
and there it was... a cleft pallet! It was hidden way back in the mouth in the soft tissue. its on the side and its not a hole, but a narrow split. The vet thinks that it is the reason food and water is coming out of his nose. and that caused a bad infection, which in return caused growths (that should go away) and the infection would not go away no matter what because it stayed so wet and nasty inside his nose.
We are going tomorrow to have his cleft pallet repaired.
