Hello,
I know that grapes are toxic, but does anyone know about the leaves? My dad, who has a weakness for giving Elektra food from his plate, gave her half of a Greek stuffed grape leaf last night. She ate it before I could stop him.
We also found out that while he was "babysitting" her, he had given her some of his bread, feta cheese/tomato/cucumber salad, and chickpeas. She's had cucumber, bread, and feta before.
I didn't feed her last night because she was having lots of burping and I figured I'd give her stomach a break. This morning she had some loose stool, but no real diarhhea nor did she vomit. She had a small portion of boiled rice.
Is there anyone who knows about grape leaves? If there is any good in this, it is that my dad felt really bad for her and will probably ease up on feeding her. We've been trying to get him to stop for a long time.
Please put my mind at ease while I'm at work.
