Well.... he wouldn't give her up ! Said she had friends all over because people fed her and she would have found her way home. I told him no way would I have just let her go, and besides she jumped the fence 3 times and stayed in my front yard ( no fence ). Also, no way would I not give a dog a meal for 4 days.........grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Gosh, that sucks. I was hoping you could keep her with you. He sounds like a crappy dog owner. If she was truly happy she wouldn't keep running to your house. If it happens again dye her coat and keep her. Be sure and change her collar also. What a jerk. He should want was is best for her. Poor Baby, she is so cute. Maybe it is time to call animal control or the spca, sounds like abuse to me, someone must be able to help.

Oh this gets me so mad! I know they love her, but make sure she stays home. I could tell by your posts how you were becoming attached to her and so were we. Sorry it had to end this way.

Why don't you talk to the local animal authorities and tell them what's been happening and your concerns if she should show up again. You might also explain to dude that if someone hits her HE is responsible for all the damages to their car and any medical expenses . . .

Well, the girl came by this morning as the dog is gone again !!! She didn't show up here....so I hope she's O.K.!! I'm beginning to understand the situation...they have workers gutting the inside of the house and he keeps getting out...they have a cage but they hate to put her in it !! I may offer to look after her here for $10. a day !! Doggie day care !
