Gracie's progress

I took Gracie to pick Maggie up from pre k Friday. She pulled harder on the leash than she usually does. You could tell she was nervous because her tail was tucked under her. But she only barked once. I stood next to another mom who has 2 big dogs and she sniffed her and actually let her pet her.

I'm not sure of what type of problems you were having before -- but I'm glad that she is making improvement.

Thanks, she has some fear aggression. She barks and tucks her tail in around people she doesn't know. We've had her since she was small. But I guess we didn't take her enough places. We took her to the home depot parking lot, the pool store several times, the vet's office(alot because of her mange) and my mom's house a ton. We are working on it though. And she is doing better all the time. She is particualrly afraid of men.

My male has fear aggression as well. We have been working with him as well, but in a few weeks we are going to start working with a trainer and do some one on one lessons.

We also consulted with a trainer. I wasn't sure exactly what we were dealing with. My male nieghbor came over and she was lungeing at him (there was a fence between them and she was on leash). I was afraid she was very aggressive. But turns out she is terrified of men and just not sure about things in general. But we are working on it slowly and making some progress. Just a couple of weeks ago my sister's boyfriend came over and after quite a bit of bribery she actually let him touch her. Have you had your male since he was a puppy?
