I wish I could get my hands on these owners. They were never even prosecuted! Shame on my state, tons of shame, for letting someone like this go away freely.

I'm so glad she has a home now, but I am so ticked off that her previous owners are not having to deal with any penalties. I will never be able to understand why people like this are even allowed to live any better than they have treated their animals.

No prosecution to the owners?!! WTF! Poor dog. I had a cat that I think was hit by a car. (had been a barn cat) After casting his leg numerous times, to no avail they took the whole hind leg, just like this dog. Wellington had a patch with a narcotic pain killer in it for a few weeks. And now, more than a couple of years after the fact, I don't know if he notices he is handicapped. (he no longer lives here due to Snips desire to eat kitties)

On the other forum, where the rescue member posted this, she said a few days ago that there was still nothing being done.

i really don't understand why some people own dogs! if a dog has such a serious injury duct tape IS NOT the answer!! people like that should be hung by their toes!!

Poor, beautiful baby. She is no less beautiful without her leg, though.

It's the torture those people put her through that boggles my mind. Everyone who had care of the dog or even SAW her (w/o reporting and reporting and reporting it) ought to prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law. Period. They don't deserve anything less and execution.

the stentch comming off that dog alone should have been enough for anyone to do something, heck if she couldnt afford to treat the injury then she should have sighend the dog over, ive smelt rotting flesh its sickening!

least now shes happy and healthy an d looks great in ther new home! someone needs to slice open the ex owners leg, then duct tape it and see how she likes it!
