I have been baby gating the puppies in the kitchen when I have been leaving the house but I guess their days of that are over. Today when I came home I got to the door to hear them barking and it sounded farther away then right on the otherside of the door where they should have been in the kitchen. I open the door to find both of them on the other side of the gate looking over it and wagging their tails. They had climbed over the gate and were quite happy running free in the house except for their inability to get back into the kitchen. It was the cutest thing. Needless to say for their own safety it looks like the crate is the only option for them now. They will probably be kicking themselves for ruining such a good thing like a whole kitchen to play in. :lol-sign:

Thanks for the suggestions. No kitchen door though, sorry:p I was thinking about getting another gate but I was afraid they might figure out how to push them just enough to make room for their heads to get between them and then get stuck. I don't know anything about x-pen panels but I am going to look into them and see if they could work. In the mean time these little rascals are going to have to be crated today when I leave. Bo has free run of the house and I don't trust the puppies not to drive him crazy while I am gone if they get out of the kitchen again (which I am sure they will do now that they figured out how) They used to be crated everytime I left but I was trying to give them more freedom while still keeping my house safe from them and them safe from the house. Thanks
