Good thoughts needed for Bailey please....

Bailey is in the Vets

They think that he may have broken his hind leg or dyslocated his hip
We are not too sure how he has done this and i am just praying that it is only severe bruising....although a break is looking possible.

He will be put under at 2pm (my time....1 hour from now) for further examination and X-rays.
If he needs operating on then he will be booked in for theatre 1st thing tomorrow morning.

I will let you all know, as soon as i hear anything.

Only thing that we can think of is that about 3 nights ago he fell off of the sofa while sleeping. But he does this all the time so we didn't think anything of it at the time Other than that, i wouldn't know how he done it.

The vet called and wants to do blood tests before putting him under b/c his gums aren't as pink as they were when he was admitted.

Ok, spoke with the vet and she said that his Red blood count is a little low to put him under.
They will keep him lightly sedated tonight and re-test his blood 1st thing in the morning.
