Oh God! I'm so sorry, this is just horrible. Tango was one of my favorite Chaz dogs. I know how hard it is to loose your best friend, please remember we are here for you, I can't believe this happened :( (((((((HUGS)))))))

I am so, so sorry. When I clicked on the last page of the thread, and saw one post offering condolences, my heart just sank.

Tango was so lucky to get to share those years with you, and vise versa.

I'm so sorry to hear this! You did what was best for her, it would not have been fair to her. I wish there was something I could tell you to make it better. You're in my thought, Toller, rest in peace Tango, run free.

Thankyou so much everyone. All of your words mean a lot to me.

Tango isn't the first dog I've had to PTS, but she's definitely the hardest loss that I've dealt with (and ever will have to deal with I'm sure - no dog could ever be anywhere close to the dog she is/was).

I'm so so so sorry, Devan. I remember first seeing Tango years ago, and watching her grow up, and her loss seriously breaks my heart. I wish I could've met her, and Gonzo could've met her, because they always seemed a lot alike. =,(

I know she was so special to you... if I'm this hurt, I can't imagine how you feel. She was such an awesome girl, and she had a very happy life.

RIP Tango... be happy and play lots of frisbee at the bridge.

She's gone. Never did I think I'd be saying that about my girl so soon. :(

The specialist said that even if he did the surgery, she'd never, ever be able to walk again. That's no life for her, and anybody who knew her or has met her would agree. He said there's a possibility that she had a tumor on her spinal cord (but wouldn't know unless he opened her up), or she had degenerative disc disease. It wasn't as "simple" as just having a slipped disc or two. He's 98% sure it was the latter, and either way, the outcome wouldn't have been good. When I saw her today, she had no feeling at all from about the base of her neck, down her back. It was awful.
Oh Toller, I am so, so, sorry about your baby girl. I know how much you loved her, you could feel it in your posts. RIP sweet girl! (((hugs))) to you Toller...................

Oh, no. I didn't see this until just now (figured out how to show only new posts).

I've always felt a special bond with you and Tango since I have an orange dog too. I am so sad for you - so sudden.

May you find peace at this time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No words can make you feel better about such a sudden thing with such a young dog. But you do have plenty of support here if you do need anything.

I went through somthing similer, my dogs back just lierally went aswell, not sure what the problem was, As we just immeadietly put her done. we didnt want to run tests and surgery becuase of her age. She was 13 (she would have turned 14 the next month), still a huge shock even though she was a old girl. But I'm sure it is such a bigger shock with such a young dog. Tango will always be with you. She is just a memory away, a picture away or a story away.

I'm so sorry, I've been avoiding this thread for fear of the worst, I shoudln't have.
I was hoping like hell she's just bounce back.

Run free Tango, I loved "knowing" you even though I never met you. You were a gorgeous dog, very much loved by someone that only ever had your best interests at heart. Now you don't have to worry about pain or not being able to walk, you can run and jump and skid and play till your hearts content.

And to Toller_08, you did such a selfless act letting her go. Losing Panda was the hardest thing I've ever done and all you have to remember is that yes you will see her again, she'll be watching over you till you meet again. And you won't have to see her sad at not being able to be so active. You will meet her again, don't worry about not seeing her again, because you will.
Thinking of you now more than ever.
