after a convo with my new psych doc, he said to bring him some info on psychiatric service dogs and would be willing, if indeed having one helps and can fulfill nessicary tasks of a service dog hed be willing to put a note on my file and give me a letter for my own file (for a just in case of legal need) agreeing i "need" a PSD!

this is huge because i havent had a steady regular dr in a while and dont have any legal backup in terms of the seizures currently, (hopefully that will change come the 19th) so while im not breaking the law, ruby is task trained as a service dog...it will make things sooo much easier to be able to realy work wiht her now...
were not exactly in a service dog frinedly area, everywhere states "service dogs welcome" but when it comes down to it if its not a lab or golden and your not blind or deaf they give you uber acess issues and i flat out cant afford a law suit...so ive become pretty much a hermit again...
having the medical back up is such a huge help, its nice to be able to feel confident and say "ok wont give me acess then ill be calling my laywer" and know youll be taken seriously in court due to having that medical backup...
whereas right now i just dont chalenge it over fear of it taking a legal turn and me having no support other than my word.

it may not seem like such a big deal, but it has the potential to turn my world around over time.
theres still alot of tasks id like to try and train her, and stil many things more that id like to try and figure out if theres some way of making/modfying things to make it easier for her to perform tasks (its not easy for a 10lb dog to carry a bottle of water lol)
