Im getting my baby tomorrow, and Im not sure what the breeder has her on (will find out tomorrow), but Im pretty sure I'll end up changing it. My only question is what is a good diet for a Sibe, particularly an 8 week old puppy? Ive read alot on it, but its a little confusing and I thought I'd ask some of the husky owners themselves. What should I feed her and what shouldn't I feed her? Any help will do.

You must be so excited! I just LOVE Huskies I have always wanted one. I'm sure you will get some good advice from Husky owners on here.

We recently switched all of our dogs from Canidae to Innova and they are doing great. We have been feeding the puppy Innova puppy food and he is doing really good on it. I was thinking he would get diarrhea from switching from the breeders food to the Innova but that did not happen. He made the transition just fine.

I switched OC's foods when he was a puppy because I really didnt like what the breeder had him on. He handled the change just fine. I have had great success with a diet of raw meat and high quality kibble such as Innova Evo.

I'm feeding mine with dehydrated dog food. Look for something that is grain free and low carb.
