Well Im stoked!!

The receiptionest at work was talking about herding (she breeds/owns belgians. She is actually the breeder of a belgian on here named riot :))
And i said i always wanted to see what Blaze would do on sheep.

Well she said she was going to a clinic with her dog in April, and asked if i wanted to tag along with Blaze. So off we go in April. i know next to nothing about herding. I just want to see what Blaze knows, what instincts will kick in, or if he will just stand around like a lug, sniffing crap lol

Seriously I need anohter 30 years with this dog to do everything i want with him lol. he will be 8 this year

The good thing is, at a herding clinic, you don't need to know anything! lol The learning comes later if you want to compete ...

Oh yes! Pictures. It sounds like it will be a blast. I remember Riot! How cool that she asked you to come along. Very, very nice.

Ill deffiently be taking pictures! And by then I should have a new camera that is better then the crappy one I have now hopefully!

Im excitied. espeacially to be going with this woman, as she knows her stuff. And can be a big help, not to mention she has amazing beutiful belgians that I adore. They are so sweet. Lucky Blaze and her one Conn'R met yesterday (we did a dog massage clinic at my work, so we all brought one of our own dogs in. Talk about a dog party lol), so atleast they will know each other when we go, espeacially for the 1.5 hour car ride haha

So cool! Can I ask who's hosting it? If it's a lady named Mary Lou she's great! She's the lady we took Quinn to for her assessment and will continue to go to - she's wonderful and very accomplished!

SitStay, if you're able to get pictures please share! I would love to see them and compare how an ES works to a Border Collie. :)

Just need to find some where around here. I bet he would love it. I really cant wait until summer when i can practice rally-o outside. Im really going to try hard to get him in to it. a beagle doing rally-o sounds like a good sight to me lol

This is where we go (well, went once and hopefully will again once things slow down a bit!). It's only about 5-10 minutes away from us (Claremont) which is awesome - my mom actually knew the man who used to live at the place, which was definitely a "small world" moment. Mary Lou is wonderful and a seems to be great with people who don't know what they're doing (me, LOL).

Lizmo - currently it's so nasty outside we work dark indoor, but I will for sure get some pictures if we work outside this summer! I'm looking forward to seeing how Quinn's style develops :)

OK, I'll stop hijacking your topic now Lisa! :)
