Oh for heaven's sake... this is almost as bad as being bombarded with political commercials!

Vote for whoever you want... you don't have to agree with how others are voting, but IMO let them make their decision in peace. One way or another, we'll have a president-elect by the end of the day (hopefully).

Just my $0.02... ;)

They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give it to others
Who had not worked a day

He snatched up my money
And as quick as a flash
Jumped back on his bandwagon
With all of my stash.
Just out of curiosity - why do McCain supporters keep saying their tax money is going to go to people who don't work?? Obama has ALWAYS said the tax breaks are going to WORKING families.

lol as long as people aren't saying crap like, "you're stupid for voting for so and so" or "only losers vote for this guy" I don't really care much what people say. Water off a duck's back. ;) There are much more important things going on in my daily life than other peoples' opinions on who I should vote for.

And I'm proud to say I haven't seen a SINGLE political commercial this election. Thank goodness for DVR! :D

As for the name calling and all (McPain, McSame, McBush, Obrack, Buttcrack Osama, Barack Yomama, etc.),
I'm all for bashing each others candidate. Attack their record, the policies. Make up stuff that they did. I don't care. That's all politics as usual. The name calling just drives me batshit crazy for some reason. It's childish and beneath each and everyone of us who have progressed beyond the 4th grade. These men and women have risen to a point in their lives where we at least owe them the dignity of calling them by their name. I've listened to people say "Shrub" and "Chimp" for President Bush for 8 years. I heard people calling President Clinton names for 8 years previous to that. Have we, as a society, not matured to the point where we can make our displeasure known while at least giving people basic human dignity and respect? To me, calling someone a goofy name says that you have no other argument against them so you resorted to name calling.

I'm not holier than anybody. I'm guilty of it, too and I kick myself when I catch me doing it. Whoever wins will be my president. I may not agree with his policies. I may even join in protests calling for policy changes. I won't, however, make it a habbit of dehumanizing him by giving him a cartoonish name.
Oh Eddie, thank YOU!

This is what I meant to say, but couldn't put my thoughts into sentences.

You've said it better than I ever could.

Thank you.

Yes, that was a baby Xena. I'll have to make a thread in the photo section with some updates.

I can't wait for this election to be over. I'm sooo sick of reading about how each candidate sucks but the other is soooo much better (which goes for both McCain and Obama).
Can we all just agree that both suck and just disregard this election entirely? A trained chimp could probably do a better job and make more folk happy.

WAIT!!! Trailer's missing:

"I'm Bill O'Reilly, and I approved this message." ;)

But, in the interests of fairness (not the rhetorical Fair and Balanced kind), Labra, McCain isn't stupid. He may be a lot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. That sort of crap is no better than the fear mongering done by the Faux News/Karl Rove nutters, errr . . . disciples.
Yah, except Rove has already predicted an Obama landslide. :)

I guess I should add the  as it seems to be the ongoing theme in this thread lol.

Actual puppies... ridiculous... where is your imagination LOL.

Whoever gets voted in as president I hope all Americans can put hurt feelings aside and stand up to support the new president, no mater the party, and start focusing on getting the economy back in a healthy place.

I can't agree, we've had a trained chimp in there for the past 8 years almost with Cheney as his handler, and I don't think he's made most people happy, not even a little bit.
