I can't stand shaving these days. I used to not mind a bit of a landing strip or a triangle above my girly parts, but lately I am more comfortable with being completely bare, and shaving SUCKS for that. Currently in that gross growing-out transition before I try waxing.

Whats the difference between hard wax and "soft" wax?
Hard wax doesn't remove that pesky layer of SKIN... lol

Before I left to go to the gym I looked in my gym bag to make sure I had everything. Thought I was set.
Got to the gym...
no sports bra.

I'm worked out in my regular bra before... it's... very uncomfortable.

So I sit there going "should I just go home? I'm already here... can I just work out without a bra? NOPE that's obscene. Uhhhh..."

Luckily I had recently restocked my first aid stuff in my gym bag.
BANDAIDS.

Yep. That happened.

I keep emergency running shoes in my car (you never know when you might suddenly have to run ten miles or something), apparently I also need an emergency sports bra.

Beanie I am dying. This is just so incredibly funny and I feel for you. Also jealous you were able to use a wrap as a sports bra, that just never would happen.

That is the first and ONLY time I have been like "well thank God for the itty bitty titties."

I'm super excited to try some now! EEEEP!!

This is what I'm looking at, is this a good one?:

I think so? It looks pretty much like what I have - this trinidadian woman gave mine to me, and I know you can buy it from street vendors in some of the ethnic neighborhoods here, so I'm not sure about where's the best place to order it online. It also lasts FOREVER, you only need a tiny bit. I don't even think I have a whole pound (maybe a half pound? I accidentally washed the label off) and it's probably going to last close to a year.

I just received an order of ABS as per MM's suggestion. Weird smell/texture, really excited to try it out!

Just ordered a pound of ABS from butters-n-bars. I couldn't figure out how to get it in Amazon because it's an "add-on" item..?? It was pissing me off trying to figure out how to buy it by itself so I just went to butters-n-bars. I'm excited to try it!!

I just wanted to give an update on OCM and my bar shampoo I bought from Chagrin Valley Soaps.

OCM is going great. I don't necessarily see fewer pimples (especially during that time of the month), but I feel my skin tone is more even, my pimples don't stick around as long, or else I'll feel one coming up and then it will go away before it fully forms. So that's all really great. I pretty much quit using my castor oil/sunflower oil blend and am using straight coconut oil. I haven't washed my face in a month or more and its awesome. The castor oil mix felt too drying and I mixed it very sparingly. The coconut oil is working great, as I have dry skin.

I bought a shampoo bar from Chagrin valley soaps to try out. I like it so far. I've been using it as body soap as well. It suds really well, and has an herbal smell to it, which I do like. I went from using chemical laden shampoo/conditioner 2in1 to using this bar. My hair looks the same as far as I can tell. My hair is cut short in a pixie cut, so I use mousse, gel, and pomade daily, along with hairspray at times depending on how my cowlicks behave. So I have quite a bit of chemical residue on my hair every day. The only weird thing about the bar shampoo is that my hair feels waxy after I rinse it out. After it dries it feels 100% normal, but while it's wet it has a waxy texture.

I've only used the bar shampoo for two days, so if anything changes I'll update later. It's a little drying on my skin, so I may try a different bar next time. While reading the ingredients on each bar it seems the shampoo and body bars are almost the same, so I may buy a moisturizing body bar and try it on my hair nad body.

Just got my African black soap!! :D Yaaay! Broke off a TEENY piece and had to let my mom and sister both use it because it was SOOO much lol! I washed my hands and all the way up my arms. It's a really rich lather and I'm so excited to use it on my hair! Doesn't really have a smell, if anything it smells a bit like plain ivory soap. I think I'm actually gonna go take a shower right now even though I don't need one lol!

Girly updates

- OCM is going great for me :) I am still using coconut oil with a bit of castor oil and things are going great! my face is so clear and soft!! couldn't be happier! I never even broke out!

- There is a sale right now @ lush and I got the celery love fash mask and I love it! Lol contrary to popular belief it doesn't smell like celery.. it has coconut oil and lavender and it is scrubby and wonderful! My face smells so awesome and it's so fun to do!!

Plus yay for being green! lol

- Best BEST BEST BEST CVS/pharmacy mascara.. CLUMP CRUSHER!! UGH ITS SO GOOD! I read quite a few things online with girls raving about this stuff so bought a tube and I am seriously impressed. It looks like this..

My other mascara is Diorshow, which is QUITE a bit more expensive.. and I'm so impressed with this and it's 1/3 the price!

Hmmm, seriously?? Diorshow is my go-to mascara as well...
Is it waterproof/come in waterproof?

My skin is a total mess right now. I think I'm going to quit the OCM (again.) I just bought some Yes To Tomatoes stuff that I think I'm going to give a whirl. I was looking for something called Nature's Cure which supposedly you can buy at Wal-Mart or Walgreens... checked both and couldn't find it. I think I will try the Walgreens by my house on the way back from the gym tomorrow and see if they have it. It's a natural pill that you take that is supposed to help... we shall see if I can even find it. =P
I've been taking L-Lysine for about a week. Somebody on a paleo forum said it was the only thing that worked for her. Why the hell not.

I want to henna my hair.
And...I want like...this color.

But the same product also produced...this color...do not want.

:/

On a semi-related note. I've been using lush shampoos for like...a year now? I started to run out and haven't done another order. I bought Organix shampoo from Wal-Mart and used it for a few days...and one day I used Herbal Essences. Oh my god...my hair was so awful, poofed and frizzy and not behaving. And I immediately started with flakes and build up. I put water in my empty lush shampoo until I can some back. I didn't realize how much better the lush shampoo is for me.

The girl with the orange hair was probably a light blonde on her first ever application of henna.

I hennaed mine right after I went super light platinum blonde. For the first two applications my hair looked like the second photo. About three months later it looked like the first photo. Now it is such a deep, rich color it shines brilliant purple under light.

I have example pics. Will make my way to my computer to upload.
