Has anybody tried Getmehome?? It's very cool. I got an I.D. tag from the vet for Thoven and on it, it says:


18846007​
If found, go to: Getmehome.com​

I registered him, and now, if he gets lost, and someone finds him, all they have to do is go to the web site, type in his number, and voila' ! There I am!

I am currently trying to find out how to get two more tags, since the vet only gave me one for Beethoven.....If I find out where to get the tags from, I'll let you guys know!

oh yeah even if it costs money I would buy it for Yuck. He has his township tag, his rabies tag and a silver bone shaped tag with his name and our cell phone number on it. The more the better it only helps get your beloved pet if god forbid anything happens.

Just took a quick look at the website and awesome but I think it is United States and does not include Canada. Bummer.

Will have to have the boy microchipped and then we can use avid microchip tracking. The chip is about $60.00 and the tracking and registration is free.

Wow, thats kind of expensive. Over here, the whole procedure and chip are $25.00

Welcome to Canada and there will be a fee to the vet of course for $45 on top of that because they have to check the dogs teeth, ears, eyes and basically make sure it is a dog. Plus don't forget the good old GST which is 7% and the good old PST which is 8%. How nice to be royally screwed by our wonderful governement and the polititians who line their pockets.

wow, thats pretty steep. And all for a micro-chip? I agree any amount is worth my dog being safe but that is kind of drawn out.
