I have so many street lights here that I don't think I would catch much.

I have to work too early in the morning to be able to stay up long enough to catch the good show. They'll still be going on tomorrow night and I don't have to work until 10:30 on Tuesday, so I'll be out then.

Just get up early Zoom. They're supposed to be best just before sunrise.

Hmmm... darkness, I'm just outside the main NYC light pollution zone. I'm red on the color scale. Only white is worse.

Tomorrow morning is one of the rare days when I don't HAVE to be up before dawn, I'm taking full advantage of that fact!!

I almost forgot so I just went out now for a few minutes. It's so dark, black as pitch that I can't see anything, not the railing of my deck which was 6 inches from me. LOL. It's so dark that I'm chicken to stand out on my deck. There have been Grizzly bears and one cougar seen around here. So, I turned on the light. Do you think that will make it impossible to see the show? LOL. I will try again one more time before I go to bed.

Renee. What did you wish for? LOL!

That would be cool to see a photo!

No photos tonight. We're 50% cloud, but the shine from NYC is lighting up the entire sky. Only one star is clear, and several others on verge of vision.

I did catch one however.

Mine was directly over a street light ;) Try not to look at the light and you'll be fine. You want your eyes adjusted to the dark, but a single light behind you shouldn't hurt that much.

Thanks Psyfalcon. I don't wanna get eaten up by a bear and not see him coming first. LOL! I'll try again. Yeah...they'll be going on for a few weeks, I guess.

Stupid time difference, I would have had the perfect place to watch. By the time it would have been strong enough, it would have been light here anyways.
