These are the current 43 dogs at German Shepherd Rescue of Southern California!!!!

Moonshadow
Moonshadow and several other dogs lost their home when their owner died. At age 6, she is loving and loyal with plenty of years left to give. Moonshadow is all black with a few tan highlights.

Mr. Robinson
Mr. Robinson's size is intimidating, but his personality is sweet and gentle. He's a super-sized two year old boy, probably weighing around 95 pounds!

Oska
Oska is a beautiful two-year-old AKC girl who lost her home due to a divorce. She is great with kids and knows some commands

Second Thor
This beautiful one-year-old boy is eager to learn and quick to give doggie kisses. He has gorgeous markings, and would love a home with a canine playmate around his size.

Snow
Sweet Snow was used for breeding and then cast off when she became too old. She is a gentle and affectionate six-year-old girl who deserves to have her love returned.

Sophia
Petite little Sophia was viciously attacked by another dog in her cage at the animal shelter. Onlookers were helpless and Sophia suffered some significant injuries.

Sophie
Sophie is a pure white sweetheart with a loving nature. She is a medium-sized girl, weighing around 60 pounds. She appears to have been well cared for.

Tej
Tej is an adorable 10 month old boy who makes friends with everyone that he meets. He even likes CATS! Tej is intelligent, playful and housebroken.

Tucker
Two-year-old Tucker was hit by a car and left to die by the side of the road. German Shepherd Rescue found him in an animal shelter suffering with a broken leg.

Wagner
Three year old Wagner is a real head turner! This black and red hunk has a noble spirit and a loving heart. He is looking for someone who appreciates these qualities in a best friend.

Billy
4 years old. German Shepherd dogs like Billy are proud, athletic working dogs. Billy is a gorgeous 4 year old, neutered Pure East German AKC German Shepherd. His pedigree is impressive and documented.

Xena
Xena is a gorgeous black female with tons of energy. She is strong and playful but prefers to be the only princess in your palace. If you let her, Xena would be content to sit right in your lap!

Nitro - Too new for a pic!
Nitro is a tall, dark and handsome boy, approximately 11 months old. He is all puppy and would love to be your constant companion...or possibly your cuddle bug!

Bruno
Fluffy Bruno loves to please his people. We think he's around 2 years old. He's a happy, super-sized male who will have a gorgeous full flowing coat once he finds his forever family.

Allie
This three year old sable sweetie has a sleek, clean look and the high energy level of a working dog. She is approximately 60 pounds and appears to be mostly Belgian Malinois.

Bear
Just when we thought we'd heard everything...7 year old Bear was found wandering the streets wearing a sign that said "Free Dog".

Biggles
Biggles isn't really a shepherd but his sad story moved us to help him. We're guessing that he might be a beagle mix, but he's got plenty of cute factor!

Blackie
Blackie is a tomgirl between 9 and 10 months old. She has lots of puppy energy and loves a good romp. Blackie will fill out to be a medium-sized girl. She is just learning the concept of "sharing" her toys and her people!

Blue
This gorgeous boy was dumped at the most bizarre of places: A nudist colony in Devore! We were called to come to his rescue and now he's safe in our care.

Brodie
Sweet Brodie is so thin that we wonder what his life before GSRescue was like...He's a handsome 2 to 3 year old boy who is longing for someone to love.

Buddy
If Buddy was a person, he would be a superstar athlete! This handsome 3 year old is active, happy and good with dogs his own size as well as kids. We think he might like cats!

Buffy II
Buffy is sweet blond female with elegant black highlights. She is approximately 3-4 years old. Buffy is very sad at being homeless and will bond quickly to a special person.

Bullwinkle
This is Bullwinkle. He is a silly, klutzy and adorable 10 month old boy with a head that is too big for his body

Quinby
We couldn't believe that this adorable 3 month old pup was dumped at a dog park by his uncaring owners. Thanks to an alert and concerned citizen, Quinby is safe with German Shepherd Rescue.

Simba
12-week-old Simba is fighting for her life at our vet's office. She was rushed to the hospital and is battling bravely to beat Parvo.

Darcy
Darcy is a shepherd mix pup of about 8 to 10 months old. She is a little thing and will probably stay on the small side. Darcy loves people and is very thankful for any attention.

Duchess II
Duchess II is robust black and cream colored girl who knows her basic commands. At age 6, she is very affectionate and loyal. Duchess II is dieting to get back her girlish figure.

Frankie
Frankie is an 1 year old shepherd mix who will steal your heart. He is happy, healthy and eager to be your shadow where ever you go! Frankie likes cats!

Greta II
Greta II has a pure white coat that glistens with good care. She is affectionate, active and walks well on a leash. Greta II enjoys the company of other friendly dogs.

Gunther
Gunther is a very special 5 year old boy. He has been blind since birth, but he doesn't let that stop him from enjoying Life's pleasures. He is looking for a kind soul to give his heart to.

Little Joe
Little Joe is a very handsome and loveable guy, approximately 2 years young. We are working to put some weight on our skinny boy!

Lucky
Rescued on St. Patrick's Day, of course we named this handsome dude Lucky! A ravishing 18 month old blond with a distinguished black mask, Lucky will be around 80 lbs. at full growth.

Megan
Megan was found wandering in a residential neighborhood for quite some time...Now she is safe with GSROC and needs a home to call her own

Big Easy
Please give a warm greeting to one of our Katrina rescues, Big Easy! This gorgeous boy is approximately 12 to 16 months young.

Cheyenne
Cheyenne is a 4 year old white shepherd. She loves people, is housetrained and has a laid back personality. She would be great in a family or with a person who wants an easy-going companion.

Cyrus
SPECIAL STORY: Labeled by animal control staff as "too ugly" to be housed with the other dogs at a public animal shelter, he was kenneled out of view from adopters. We are so proud of his noble spirit!

Danny
SPECIAL STORY! Danny endured some sort of physical or emotional trauma before coming to us. He has been waiting for his forever home for over a year. Could you be his special person?

Foxy
Foxy is about 10 months old. She is housebroken, loves other dogs, and would do best in an adult only home. She is very affectionate with adults but gets frightened by children.

Sarah
This 1 year old gets along nicely with other dogs and even CATS! Sarah will be happiest in a quiet home with another dog that she can learn from. She is active and loving.

Tyler
12 months old. Tyler is a bright and happy one-year-old black & tan neutered male. His bubbly personality is spoken through his soft ears and his smile.

Kris
Kris is a handsome, classic shepherd, approximately 3 years old. He is affectionate, playful and very active. Kris would do best in a feline free home.

Cassandra
Cassandra is a precious 10 week old shepherd mix looking for her happy ending! Who could resist that face?

Cassidy II
Poor Cassidy was abandoned at a crowded animal shelter and no one adopted her. A group of compassionate shelter volunteers made a cry for help on the Internet and GSROC was the only group who responded for Cassidy.
