Meet Jane, the first "generic mutt" on the list. Jane may be generic, but she certainly isn't plain! She walks well on the leash and is very sweet. Before I took these pics, I took her over to my car so I could change my camera battiers, and she tried like heck to climb in my car, lol. I can't begin to guess her breed, although I think she looks like a tiny Dane. Perhaps she's a pocket Dane! :p

This is Sam, the generic brown dog! Sam came from a shelter in SC. I just love this dog, he's a real cuddle-bug. Whoever adopts him will always have a warm lap.

This is Twiggy! She was an owner surrender to Fairfax County due to moving, they were in the military. She lived around young children and did well with them, and she is also dog friendly. She does like to chase cats, even though there are plenty of cats bigger than she is! Twiggy is a fun little dog, I like her.

Miss attitude.

Yoo haz ball?

Nom

This is Jessie! She is 35lbs of brindled awesomeness! Jessie is very friendly, and wants to THROW herself at any person she meets. She loves kids, they are fun to tackle and lick to death! Jessie knows sit and give paw and walks fairly well on the leash. She needs to learn how to play with toys, and that jumping up is bad behavior. This dog sat at Fairfax County for three months! They didn't know why she didn't get adopted. Gee, maybe its all the ridiculous rules you have for pit bull adoption??? But I digress.

Jessie has joy.

This is Baxter the cairn terrier. He's a nice little fellow, everything a cairn should be. He has an application already!

This is Nina the bulldog mix. I wonder if she's mixed with EB, she walks like an EB with that waddle. She's very friendly and athletic.

This is Triscuit the lab. He's, well, everything a lab should be. I held up a ball and he nearly jumped on my face. He has an application as well.

This is Penelope. Very sweet, good puppy. She has an application too!

Here's another pic of Jodie, the scared pit bull I posted a pic of last week. She's still not allowed to be walked yet, but I spent some time with her in her run. After she was through fear-barking at me and decided she liked me, she gave me lots of kisses. Jonie was an owner surrender to FOHA because the family moved on to a military base with breed restrictions. She's really good with kids and other dogs and is really a nice dog, she is just not doing well in the shelter. But she's making improvements.

That's all!

I am so glad Jodie seems to be warming up, her picture in your last photo thread was heartbreaking :( It's hard enough to adopt out pitties, nvm ones that are fearful to begin with :( Poor thing.

Oh and Jessie = <3. She is exactly the type of pittie I find so cute :D She looks like she would be fun in agility.... Good thing I don't live closer :p
