Am I the only one who finds it hard to post sometimes because you don't know if your speaking to a male or female?
Same goes for dogs. I see people say "Aww shes cute" then the owner comes back and says "its a boy". I have checked profiles but there is no help there .

It's not just you. I have trouble with it too, and I've seen lots of amusing situations where that happens.. most people don't get offended, though. Whenever I use this name online, I get mistaken for a guy, though. *checks profile to see if I mentioned that on it.. or if I even have a profile..*

On this forum I assume everyone is female unless it's obvious otherwise.

Most of the time it's obvious they're female though. Guys generally don't use emoticons much nor words like 'cute' and stuff.

Pretty easy to tell IMO.

It would be helpful if the profile said if a person was m or f . But since most of the mods have a warped sense humor it prob gives them something else to laugh at.:D

Well I had to point out my gender many times. People here thought me to be a bit ( shall we say) masculine LOL.
They were not ready I guess for a strongly opinionated, strong of spirit and very secure with herself, fighting female lol ( ducks and runs here)
But Aussie is indeed all female and not at all big either.

Hmmm never really thought of that one G.O. But in the future I will be checking posts for those words. Now I will become the post police and am out to bust a male using cute fluffy words lol

I never got the impression you were male. What would disturb me is if I thought someone with a very femenine name, such as Renee, was a male. For those of us with names that could swing either way, or with the name of our opposite-gendered dog; it's probably not too weird to be mistaken.

Wanna hear something funny, I thought Louie was an older Male. I don't really know why.

Yes but you are fairly new and this was awhile back. I was quite surprised to see how many thought I was lol

First I was a man called "Gus" Then I was a man called "Louis" Now finally people are getting the idea that I am a GIRL called "Louie" ;)

Pity really, I liked all those PM's asking me if I have a webcam! *Sigh*

Yep, but the thing is, you don't give me the impression of being a male from your typing habits. Maybe that's changed before I came here.
