Right on cue we had a similar experience today!

We've just started taking Quinn to the dog park - she's been about 5 times. Today was actually my first time - my mom usually takes her after dropping me off at work. Anyways, I got off work early today so we went together.

It actually started off really well - Quinn played with a goldendoodle that she met last time and LOVES, and got along famously with a super nice beagle. She doesn't like dogs in her face and the beagle ran a lot in play, so she loved that. Our dog park is small (plans to expand, but it was opened just this fall and I imagine they won't be building anything until it's warmer) but it's narrow and long so usually there's a group in the front half and then a group in the back. Anyways, this little mini Aussie comes in and a designer pug cross goes after her bad. Lots of snarling and yelping (mini aussie was just screaming) all the way across the park. They get him off of her but don't leash him so about 30 seconds later it happens again. The goldendoodle's owner told us later that I guess when they were asked to leave or leash their dogs, they said that they didn't want do because "he likes some dogs". They KNEW he was dog aggressive because when we came in we commented that he was cute or something, and they said he was in a time out because he was being aggressive. He was playing OK with another pug cross but they started coming close to where Quinn and her friends were playing so we (and the beagle) left. We carried them out.
