I work with many Europeans that live here year round. And I always watch myself with my American Slang... but they are ALL OVER IT! It's pretty neat...

Ahhhh, I get it now.

(drunk people's noses tend to get very red when they are intoxicated, which can be a good indicator of who shouldn't drive.)

Ok, and I apologize for the off-topic...are we still on GED's? Rottie, you know where you're going from here right?
I got all the info and advice from this thread that i need. Thanks to everyone who was being respectful and gave advice. I am definately going for my diploma.

Of course. Just trying to let you know the correct spelling of a word. Apparently, you can't take correction. Good to know. There are plenty of words that I don't know how to spell. And I always mix up practise and practice. I'd like to know a good trick for remembering the difference. Not a big deal. If you know a trick that would help me. You apparently don't want to know how to spell sense and I thought you might since you are always telling people they don't make any sence.
i have a little trick...just keep in mind, my tricks are kinda dumb (you should hear some of mine i used in chem...they were so retarded...cause they didnt make much sense...BUT they worked)

just remember "Practice makes Perfect" There is a 'c' in perfect...and there is a 'c' in practice....dunno if that helps!!! You know what work i spell wrong almost EVERY SINGLE time...'definitely' (i just had to look that up on dictionary.com...i have soooo much trouble with that word, its ridiculous, lol

and rottie, you are right...i was being rude...and i already had pointed it out in the other thread (you had spelled it wrong like 4 times in a row...) I just get frustrated with your threads...i find them difficult to follow - like sparks was saying, they are often very contradicting, and sometimes, rather hard to believe (and no, i am not accusing you of anything)...as to kahlua, no, i do not know the whole story, all i know is what you posted in that thread.

Practice makes perfect. Practice makes perfect. .... that could work! Thanks :) And I think all tricks are a little dumb.

You know what I hate! Long posts with no paragraphs. Even if it's perfect grammer and punctuation I just can't bring myself to wade through most of them. Break it up!

and how are my statements contradictory and hard to believe? That is what I do not understand. If people would read ALL my posts in one thread then it would make sense (i spelled it right for once:eek: ). The problem is that people skip through too much. And some people even make accusations by calling me a liar (you know who you are).

You're not someone who jumps to mind with that. actually no one person does. Just people who come with problems/rants... they mostly need to break it up
