Gotta wait for my commission check first. I've got some things to take care of first with the money from this next batch of shifts and parties...but that will be here around the 12th.

Hmmm...is a thought...

Another thought...if I fly, I would have to have someone come pick me up from the Nashville airport.

ETA: Oh wow, if I fly from KC to Nashville with Southwest...round trip is just over $100. :hail:

Hey Zoom, It might would be better if you saw if you could get a flight into the knoxville airport...

Nashville is like 3 hours from gatlinburg, and the knoxville airport is only around an hour...

but I really dont know, renee might though

It's closer to the action, but it doesn't look like anyone likes to fly into that airport for less than $200. :(

Knoxville airport was like $200 more than the Nashville airport was when we were trying to fly out a couple of months ago.

I would offer a pick up at Nashville, but I drive a mini cooper, so I could fit like two people and zero dogs.. and no luggage ahh!

Renee I got my hair done at the Morristown mall the other day.. At "Regis" actually :D Whenever I pass by(we go to Knoxville for his job) I'm always like "Renee lives there!" :lol-sign:

Corgi, the furniture store is actually about a block west of the mall, so you were close, lol.

It's a long, rotten drive to Nashville. At least 3.5 hours if you hump it, don't hit Knoxville during any of the traffic times (which is difficult to manage) and know how to steer clear of the construction zones (nearly impossible on a through trip) and get lucky.

I feel ya, I had to drive on it from California to Tennessee, litterally from the start to the end of it. Suckage!

Well, you know the patron saint of I-40, at least through Knox County, is Our Lady of Perpetual Construction

I will have to say that it's been better since Gov. Bredesen took office and fired the head of TDOT though. That was his first act when he took office, and the promise of it is probably what gave him the election, lol!

I have to go from I-26 to I-40 then exit 440 I believe ROFL...

I havent been on 26 in a long time so I cant remember if its bad or not...

I am leaving here the 7th at around 11-12

ORRRR...

Instead of spending that time on 40 I can go down 19...

?? which do you think would be better

I'll still have to be on 40 but instead of around 60 miles it would be around 20 but I would add around 20 minutes to my drive ??

but I would have to drive down 441 through the smoky mountains and all those curvy roads
