I know, I'm way behind the musical curve. :p

I've been playing around on Rhapsody, and I finally listed to the song "O Death" from the "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" soundtrack....the one that an 80-something year old singer won a Grammy for.

What a haunting song! Sent a few chills up my spine. I'm not into that genre of music at all, but it was very different and well done. It's added to my library now. Kudos to the artist!

Anybody else wander across something neat and unusual while playing on music services?

Oh, my iPod has all sorts of stuff on it, lol . . . . But I worked in a music store for awhile and picked up all sorts of off the wall music even before downloads came to be.

I love Rhapsody - I have one of the Sansa Rhapsody players, and a subscription so I can download as much as I want.

Most of my new musical choices are from TV. On my own, I will listen to pretty much all country, with just a few other singers mixed in. But I frequently hear songs I like from TV, and go online to find out what they are. Criminal Minds has probably gotten me hooked on more different music than anything else; House would be a distant second. James Blunt, Damien Rice, Band of Horses... all stuff I never would have discovered on my own.
