Just getting back to the forum (member since 2004) now that I'm working from home with my dog grooming business... and really looking forward to hanging out here again, now that I'll will have much more free time!
Just wanted to share some fun pictures with all of you! We have a pair of wild ducks that decided to "move in" with us, since we have a pond in our back yard. They've been here for about 2 months now (they come and stay all day.. then leave to go somewhere at night... and back in the morning.) The dogs have been so funny with them. At first they wanted to chase them, but now they just like to "pretend" they are ducks... so they can get in on some of those bread pieces too!
Lucy still likes to walk back and forth around the outside of the pond, just to make sure the ducks swim back and forth.... and get some exercise to wear off all of that bread they are eating! The ducks will even come up to "knock" on the patio door with their beaks for bread... but not sure I like that too much... they are starting to eat us out of house and home! I find myself going to the store just for bread several time a week now... and none left for lunch for us!
