I need some advice from you to tell my friend so more puppies aren't born again. Here's the story.

She has a Great Pyrnese (4yrs old) and a Golden Retriever. Dogs are not fixed. The GP had puppies by the Golden in December. Unplanned pregnancy. Puppies were sold at Walmart, 2 puppies are left. The Golden was sold to a lady but the lady returned the Golden. The GP has hip dislocation and is limping. Stupid friend wont get the hip fixed, the dogs fixed, the 2 puppies are still there. Friend says she's to busy with her kids and life that she has no time or money to have her dogs treated.

Makes me so mad. I'm seeing her tomorrow and the puppies.

Slap her for me.
And then find out if there are any reduced price s/n clinics around or anything. For example there is a place called PA Pets here that gives you a discount based on income. Maybe she could go through something like that?

If she doesn't have the time or money why not just rehome all the dogs. With the problems the one has with the hip, it'll be alot harder since someone isn't going to want to take on a dog with problems most of the time. Or find a no kill shelter for them.

I'll mention that to her today and see what she says. I know she wants to rehome the Golden but I dont think she can give up the GP.

I'm going to take pictures of the puppies. I heard they are in a barn and its snowing outside!

Sounds like your friend is overwhelmed, so she probably won't follow through, even if you find a low-cost option for her. Maybe if you find a program that offers affordable s/n, you could offer to take the dogs in for her. She probably isn't trying to be irresponsible, she may just have too much on her plate, so she might appreciate the hands-on help.

I hope everything works out.
