I know there have been other posts about this kind of thing, but Kovi just had about 5 very small frothy vomiting incidents. There was some grass in there as well.

The first thing I did was call the vet, and she said just to watch her for the day and that it doesn't seem like anything more serious than an upset stomach maybe from eating something she shouldn't have.

I know there are others who have had this problem . . . can anyone tell me if I should be worried and call the vet and insist to take her in?

sounds like a tummy achee..Vic will throw up bile if he has gone too long without eating (his choice, the food is available, he just doesn't like it) and Mary will eat grass on occasion. I wouldn't be too concerned unless it continues. Mary has had tummy aches off an on all her life.

Echoing what Smkie said. I know quite a few dogs that will vomit either frothy clear or frothy yellow when they get hungry or over-excited. And sometimes dogs get tummyaches, just like us. I'd keep an eye on her, but she's probably fine.

Thanks! I appreciate the advice. She ate this morning, so I'm guessing it wasn't being over-hungry. It is very hot here, so maybe the heat combined with something upset her stomach.

She seems fine. We're gonna take a nap in the air conditioning now!

Maddie has thrown up some yellow frothy stuff twice in the past month... both int he morning before she eats, so I imagine its due to being hungry. Wish she hadn't done it on my bed though... oh well.

Mordy made the right call here. Same thing was happening to one of my beagles. It was because she was hungry.
