Know what the nicest part of this is for me on the forum? For once we have a thread that is more then 5 pages in dog chat about something postive. A whole lot of the negativity on here was my inspiration and kept me going.
I also wanted to prove by "doing" a few things. THat force training is completely out of touch, as well as choke chains and prong collars being archaic as the "rule of thumb". I wanted to show that one person can make a difference, even if you have nothing, which is pretty much what i have. I wanted to show that a dog with multiple issues as a rescue could work through all of them and go on to have a well behaved and happy life. I hope i accomplished that. I also wanted to pay it forward
Victor and i both thank you Connie Guthrie, without you, we wouldn't be us. last of all the Photographer that took the awesome shot, i sure wasn't expecting anything like this! ANd the Kansas City Star for thinking our aim was important enough to put on the front page. I hope that brought in some more donations.
Maybe next year Victor and i can sneak away and join Grammy and Ollie! Would deffinately be more fun together.
