Taffy At The Cottage
Taffy snoozing at both ends of the couch Friday and with Larry on ther couch later the same day.Taffy either barks or whines to go out and has three Beggin Strips when she comes in,Fritz had some too and somer Iams bones.She sleeps with Marlene and Larry,doesn't snore Larry,I hear him form where I slept,would do the same thing downstairs on the couch,Fritz would whine at him thinking something was wrong with him.When Taffy goes in the truck,she stands up and rides,not with us in it,she would curl up between us and Fritz on my lap.Taffy gets food on a plate from Marlene when dinner is done
Murphy
Here is Murphy the Golden Retriever I talked about earlier.he was 6 ,turned 7 in November.he is a friendly dog,goes around and wags his tail.Murphy doesn't eat meat as a rule but he did that night.At supper,Murphy had his head on my lap,wanted some food,he slobbered on my pants and I had to change them.Marlene had a stuffed toy tha t Murphuy plays with when he comes and that night was no exception.he got up the stairs pasrt a chair thast was blocing Fritz and Taffy from going up.He got the toy, couldn't figure out how to get back down and started barking,Marlene and I heard so moved the chair and he casme down tail going proud of the toy he had.he got tired shortly after and had a sleep like in the last picture.
Fritz's Stormy and Loud Weekend
Fritz last Saturday on my bed,that morning had some thunder and lightning,he didn't like it and there were fireworks the previous night it was our Victoria Day long weekend.the next moning Sunday on my bed and Monday morning also.There were fireworks all four days ,gave him Gravol,eventually helped.He would start to bed with Mom then would end up with me.Last night he went with Mom,didn't stay two minutes and was sleeping on the carpet and then my bedspread on the floor.
Birthday Boy
The birthday boy Fritz snoozing on the couch on the morning of his 7th birthday June 3rd,was also Mom's birthday she was 79 and a picture of the card I got him.It maybe a Bichon Puppy on the front or a Polar Bear Cub,anyway it is a cute card.On the inside it says another year older,another year cuter,Happy Birthday.I added,may you have many more Fritz,you have been a great little pal.We left him on the living room couch the night before,he came later and slept on my bedspread.That morning he was woken up by the phone the Aunties called,singing Happy Birthday.Irene is pretty well,she is going in for a Hip operation on July 9th,will be there for 4 days.Bev is getting over her headaches,can't walk too fast or will get dizzy.She ahd Temporal Arteritis which caused headaches,was cold and was tired all the time,had a artery taken out.We just saw them on Thursday,had ot take their car to a dealership west of here,a recall on it for something,they wanted to come to there and go out for coffee,was too warm for Fritz.We decided that we are going to their place on Thursday ,Fritz will go this time.Larry also phoned that ,morning,Marlene after that.Mom went with a friend for lunch on her birthday,Fritz knew that and went to her bedroom to sleep.Marlene came by after Mom left,brought a card and gift which was a purse,Fritz gave her some kisses which he doesn't do for Mom.
cuddledin bdaysnack
Fritz cuddled in Mom's chair morning of June 4th and his birthday snack we brought home from The Keg Steakhouse.Mom told the waitress to save as it was Fritz's birthday he would be looking for a snack when we got home.She brought it back,it had a candle in the Potatoes.I had Steak,Larry had Prime Rib,Mom Teriyaki Chicken ,not sure what my sister had.I had Apple Crumble for dessert,Mom had Creme Brulee,Marlene had some of that,Larry had Chocolate Brownie covered with Ice Cream.Fritz was waiting when we got home,he had some Chicken Teriyaki.At bedtime,went and sat on the couch,later went to Mom's bed,then came to me and slept on the bedspread.
Monkeywalk,lookyboy
Fritz walking with his Monkey in his mouth just before I did the vacuuming on Thursday and the next morning June 5th looking out the front window.We had Grilled Cheese Sandwiches for supper,Fritz had a little after he ate all of his.He later came down after I gave him meat to get him down here.Hhe had a snooze dowen her and begged for water and Iams bones..he goes to the living room before bed and sits on the couch.After this,went to Mom's bed then to me and on the bedspread.At 6 the next morning,went to Mom and buried his head under a pillow.After coming out,went behind the couch.I washed Mom's truck and pulled weeds from the patio,never know it now.After I came in,had lunch so did Fritz.After lunch,played with his Monkey and cuddled with me.I gave him a brushing,he didn't like it,we should have started doing this to him as a Puppy and wouldn't be a problem now.
Visit to the Aunties
These are the first of several pictures before and during our visit to the Aunties July 2.Fritz outside his cage that morning,there were fireworks on Canada Day night so he slept there and then up on Mom's bed all stretched out.Fritz had a snooze on the way up,weather wasn't great,it rained ,once there it had stopped.Fritz couldn't wait to get to them whe we got there,tail was going,had 2 or three walks of which Irene took to see a lady there who had seen Fritz only in pictures,now saw him in person.On one walk,Bev had to come back,was tired out,her headaches are less,has been sweating a bit due to the medication.Irene had Hip Replacement surgery July 9,in hosptal for 4 days,is fine now and looking after Bev.The went out recently,then Mom was talking to Irene,only said Bev was okay,nothing specific.We had doughnuts and coffee,Fritz had some doughnut and Bacon treats from the Aunties.We had Salmon,Tuna and Egg Salad sandwiches and Pickles,Fritz had some Salmon,could smell it when I gave him some Egg sandwich.Other than this,he either snoozed on the floor or with Irene.Once When Fritz got treats,he would stand on his back paws begging for some, when Fritz was asked about a walk,got up and wanted to go on one.We stayed for three hours and left aroiund 1,Bev had to go at 1:30 to get a prescription,didn't want too tire her out.Fritz slept all the way home,did the same once there.The next mornin ,I let him and he went to Mom's bed and hid head under as pillow.After this,came out,had my cereal no toast then to the window.
Visit to Aunties
