Pardon me if this is in the wrong section... It's unfortunate really. We consider her to be a member of the family, but lately she's become too much to handle. We sent her away for training, but even with two full years under her belt, nothing seems to be working. Each time she comes back from the training center she appears to be even more clingy than before. Sometimes it's manageable and I even enjoy it, but it's really beginning to become too much. She refuses to let me sleep and insists on being in my face during every waking moment of the day. I've tried to be patient. I've tried to be positive. I never ever scold her or tell her 'no'... most of the time I just get up and walk away when she's bothering me. But good lord, she's persistent.

Don't get me wrong. She's usually pretty nice to have around. She's not old yet and is still happy to go for walks around the neighborhood, but she's mature enough to know her place in the household. She doesn't steal my belongings or food, destroy the house, and has never ever tried to hurt me or anyone in the family. But man can she be irritating. I just can't handle it anymore. Today was the last straw..........She gave me a bath.

Someone please adopt my owner?

With lots of wet dog kisses,
Boo

Oh Boo, you poor poor dog. I'm not sure your owner is adoptable. I think the best solution is for you to come here!

not for sure, nope. My best guess is a chow mix + who knows what. She was listed at the shelter as a chow, shepherd mix and apparently was there with a sister that "looked more like a collie" (according to the shelter staff). Her sister got adopted first, though, so I never got to see her.

Pretty sure yesterday Boo would have happily taken you all up on your offers haha! Today though, I plan to win back her affections by taking her on a hike. I'll let you know how this goes! :p
